Richard is currently a fully qualified PGA Professional and works with golfers of all ages and abilities from complete beginners to players who play for Wales & Great Britain and Ireland.

Richard represented Wales on eight different occasions and attended the University of South Florida on a golf scholarship.

In 2015, Richard turned professional to fulfil his dream of playing on the PGA Tour. In 2016 he won the Lookers championship on the Europro Tour and Rookie of the year Honours. These achievements elevated him to the European challenge tour where he travelled the world competing. However, due to injury, he was forced to finish his playing career in 2018.

Since then, Richard has turned his attention to Coaching and completed the PGA foundation degree. He has been fortunate to work at some great venues and some of the most prestigious clubs in Wales learning from some of the best minds in the industry.

Richard now resides in Penrhos Park as the Head Teaching Professional which has a floodlit driving range, short game area and championship golf course. Technology plays a huge role in coaching and Richard uses state-of-the-art technology including Trackman and Sportsbox 3d to measure player’s development. Why Guess when you can measure?
